Certified hypnotherapist · Founder of ADHD Mind
Certified hypnotherapist applying structured clinical methodology to the nervous system patterns underneath adult ADHD. ADHD Mind translates the 7-phase clinical hypnotherapy arc into short, repeatable daily sessions — built for an ADHD nervous system by someone with one.
ADHD Mind started with a clinical question, asked from inside the experience. The structured hypnotherapy methodology that has shown clinical efficacy for conditions like IBS, anxiety, and chronic pain works at the nervous system level — below conscious thought. Most existing ADHD tools work above it: planners, reminders, cognitive strategies. They help, partially. They don't reach the layer where the patterns were installed.
The question: what would it look like to translate that clinical methodology into short, daily, app-delivered sessions targeting the specific nervous system patterns that show up across adult ADHD?
I trained and certified through the Mike Mandel Hypnosis Academy in neo-Ericksonian methods — Milton Erickson's indirect, permissive approach designed to bypass the conscious critical mind and reach the layer where patterns actually run. Then I built ADHD Mind around that methodology, translated for an ADHD-friendly format and structured around six recurring patterns: shame, rejection sensitivity, task paralysis, emotional flooding, attention scatter, and burnout.
Every one of the 42 daily pattern sessions and 10 Emergency Toolkit sessions follows a 7-phase clinical hypnotherapy architecture rooted in neo-Ericksonian principles. Built for an ADHD nervous system, by someone with one.
Neo-Ericksonian hypnotherapy moves away from the authoritarian "you are getting sleepy" image of older hypnosis. It's permissive, indirect, metaphor-rich — designed to work with the mind's resistance instead of against it. That matters enormously for ADHD brains, which reject direct instruction and respond to story, image, and metaphor.
The methodology has clinical evidence behind it: a 2026 systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials of Ericksonian hypnotherapy (8 RCTs, N=676) found large pooled effects compared to waitlist or standard care (SMD 1.17, 95% CI 0.70–1.64) and non-inferior efficacy compared to active treatments like CBT and motivational interviewing (Çınaroğlu, Yılmazer & Noyan Ahlatcıoğlu, 2026; Psychiatry International 7(1), 16).
Every session in ADHD Mind follows the same 7-phase clinical arc — a structured journey from surface awareness into the nervous system layer where patterns live, the retraining work in depth, and the return back to waking awareness with the change intact.
This isn't meditation. It isn't cognitive reframing. It's direct retraining at the layer where ADHD patterns were installed — a layer most tools can't reach because they work on thoughts, and the patterns don't live in thoughts.
Important boundaries on scope.
ADHD Mind is a wellness product, not medical treatment. The founder is a certified hypnotherapist — not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or prescriber. Sessions are designed to help retrain patterns at the nervous system level. They are not a substitute for medication, licensed mental-health care, or medical advice.
If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out to a licensed provider or call 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or your local equivalent. If you're considering starting, stopping, or adjusting any medication, please talk to your prescriber, not an app.
ADHD Mind is built to work alongside other care, not instead of it. The nervous system retraining adds a layer that conventional tools don't reach.
